This power is delivered through a permanent magnet synchronous motor with continuous output through a two-speed transmission that changes automatically depending on the situation. To ensure greater efficiency, the Porsche Recuperation Management System can recuperate up to 90% of braking energy depending on your preferences.

The energy is then fed back into the system to deliver better performance and economy. Regarding handling, the Taycan offers Amative Air Suspension along with rear-axle steering. The Adaptive Air Suspension balances both comfort and performance while on a drive through Brickell.

The rear-axle steering allows the rear wheels to turn in the opposite direction of the front wheel, delivering greater stability on handling on smaller roads while also reducing your turning circle when navigating around town.
